Edinburgh Festival Fireworks 2006. The official end to the Festival every year is the Bank of Scotland Fireworks display, the largest European display set to live music. This year over 4.5 tonnes of fireworks were detonated over Edinburgh Castle in time to the Scottish Chamber Orchestra playing pieces from Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet
