This is a remnant of the wall in the Cemetery of the Invalids in Mitte. Cathy and I were seriously blessed to have Ulrich as a guide. He grew up in this neighborhood on the east side of the Wall. The day after the Wall fell, he was visiting friends and he was visiting other friends in Scotland within the week. He had some good things to say about life under Russian rule, namely that there was zero crime. It was a great night around the eastern part of the city, thanks to him.
