Hosur

Hosur (Tamil: �) is a Town and a municipality in Krishnagiri district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a taluk of Krishnagiri district. It is located about 40 kilometres south-east of Bangalore. According to the 2001 census, its population is 84,310. Hosur is known for its manufacturing industries and its mediterranean climate.
