Despite looking black and white, this is actually a colour image with no adjustment to the saturation. You can see that the faint image of a tree on the right of the frame that has a slight reddish hue of reflected light from our hotel room, and there are a few coloured dots which may be thermal noise in the electronics, or may be a few photons coming from stars or planets. This weekend we drove down to the Monterey Peninsula and spent the night at the Highland Inn, where we were married in 1992. We had drinks and watched the sunset from the bar of the hotel. [IMG_7265-highlands-inn]
