Herzliya (in Hebrew: H+¶R+°ZJ°L+iJ+ouH+, without Niqqud: H+R+ZJL+J+J+H+, commonly pronounced in Hebrew as Hertseliya) is a city in Israel, on the central coastal strip in the south of the Sharon region, just north of Tel Aviv (about a 20 minutes drive) and south of Netanya, and part of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area in the Tel Aviv District.

• Herzliya Art Museum. A modern-art museum in the center of the city, near the central bus station.

• Sidna-'Ali Mosque. A beautiful mosque on a cliff at the northern end of the beach.

• Apollonia-Arsuf. . An excavated ancient city from the Greco-Roman period (about 2000 years ago), with a Crusader fortress on top. To the north of Herzliya.

i ended up surfer watching with a hot blond. hot blond writes: Drove to the Marina. Saw that the boats are not accessible to the general public (meaning Us), so started climbing the rocks. Climbed like crazy for 20 minutes in high heels until realized that we could just walk the whole thing. Started to giggle and couldn’t stop. Saw some old people with bikes on their shoulders running pass us, and asked for a ride. Got rejected for a ride. Reached solid ground. Saw there’s no free entrance to the boats, so giggled some more. Then sat down on the rocks and judged an unofficial surfing contest. Climbed back to the car.
