Gang arrest on half moon lane

Sitting with my kids having a late tea in cafe provencal on the corner of Herne Hill. after an afternoon at the Lambeth Country Show. Suddenly a gang of 40 youths dressed in black (hoodies, caps, black jeans) stream passed and just as suddenly are pinned to the window of the restaurant we were eating in. Some stream into the restaurant and I am wondering whether the window will come in on us or/and the youths in the resaturant will threaten us. However there are enough police to take control - and they are pretty quick and very efficient. Most of the gang are frisked and are presumably/possibly packing something suspicious as a few minutes later riot police arrive and shortly after they comandeer a red london bus and pile most of the gang into it. Hairy. The kids, of course, carried on playing with their toys and took a casual interest, no more. A while later four of the gang members leave the restaurant having first removed their balck clothes and were wearing conspicuously flash gear underneath. Oh and it was my son's birthday. Wont forget it in a hurry.
