Die Zwei-System-Loks der Baureihe 181 werden in Zukunft nur noch wenig gebraucht, denn ab 10.06.2007 fahren ICEs und TGV zwischen Frankfurt/Main bzw. Stuttgart und Paris. Das bisherige Umspannen in Karlsruhe entfällt damit auch. German loco series 181 which can handle french and german systems, so far used in transit trains will be more and more obsolet in the near future, because the french TGV and the german ICE will ride direct into France and Germany. There are only around 20 of them, and only two are in blue.

103 235 waited on Oct 22, 2007 in Karlsruhe for her next job to pull a TransEuropExpress from nearby Mannheim to Dresden the subsequent day. I was there with a tripod at hand, which gave me the opportunity to shoot three bracketed images and make a HDR of them.

Beschriftung der Rolltreppe an den Gleisen 1 und 2 am Hauptbahnhof Karlsruhe. Ich bin irgendwie erstaunt, dass bisher erst ein Künstler auf diese Idee gekommen ist und bisher noch kein Unternehmen diese Flächen als Werbeflächen vermarktet.
