I love these bridges, they are so industrial!! I thought the old wooden row boat made a perfect foreground object. On the right is a streaking Newark bound PATH subway train, on the left is a blurring freight train with overseas containers. They are starting to build a new bridge, this whole place may change dramatically soon. Such a shame, it has character!

Taken a short distance north of the PATH train, Truck Route 1/9, 508 Newark Jersey City Turnpike crossing over the Hackensack River. The photo shows Jersey CIty's older industrial past and the new commercial/financial centers (Here Journal Square) replacing it.
