The back display of a digital camera can be used as an integral, even essential tool in the creation of otherwise difficult to accomplish images. The point here is that this is a genuine picture of an image in a mirror of which the border cannot be seen. The combined effect of the harsh lighting, the fact that the mirror was slightly convex and the replacement of the expexted human face with the self-referential camera gives this composition a slightly weird and unsettling nature which I enjoy taking in by looking at it - but not for too long.
