Here is the view of Wheeler Peak, the 2nd highest peak in Nevada at 13,605ft in elevation from the trail head to the . I was sitting in the parking lot re-hydrating after the hike and watching the wispy clouds just boil over the top of this.... wishing I had more time to get some time lapse footage. I captured this as a series of 3 vertical frames at 59mm zoom. It was the only way to get all the clouds and peak in one shot with the lens I had. Doesn't look like much, but I am sitting at nearly 10,000 feet in this shot. From the Great Basin valleys below this thing is a behemoth.
