The Golden Horn is a water. The Golden Horn (Turkish:Hali, Greek: Xruso'n Ke'ra*s) is an estuary dividing the city of Istanbul. The name in English is a direct translation of its Greek name. In Greek legend, Byzas the Megarian named it after his mother Keroessa.
