edmonton has a lot of churches, many in a simple, modernist style. i've always liked how the landscaping on this church works with the building. how they've never sought to gussy it up with a less austere arrangement. colour

not sure that i know exactly what these signs are for, but this one was right beside a very small and rough path down a ravine into the river valley .. perhaps for emergency services to locate a way in if necessary?
