This is actually a composite of 3 bracketed images. I used a variable nd filter to use slower shutter speeds so I could really smooth the water out. It was also long enough to blur out any of the people who were walking around over there by the base. The day was absolutely gorgeous! If you like this version, check out the same image with Monet color palette . Available for purchase here.

The Marquette Building
Made by J.S. Hollands
Broadway and Locust Built: 1914 Architect: Eames and Young Simplified Chicago style with restrained Beaux-Arts ornament. A communications mast surmounting the penthouse was one of the highest structures in the city until its removal in 2006. The building underwent conversion to residential use in 2006, with a replica cornice completing its long-shorn crown.

This should be the Eads bridge in St. Louis, MO. You're looking at Illinois. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this to be Eads, it was the first bridge north of the Gateway Arch, so should also be Washington Avenue here.
