I ran into these guys on my way back from an errand last Summer and they suddenly got my interest! I had never heard of Otakuthan / Cosplay but learned a lot that day! It turned out to be a fun shoot and afternoon! sipping beer downtown Montreal on a beautiful Saturday afternoon?! none other then the lovely Manda (aka ) !!! We had just arrived on the site of Les FrancoFolies and we were sitting on the opposite side of the fountain when the boy decided to move around.. and there she was... I had no idea she was in town so this was a nice surprise and an happy coincidence ! :) The boy was messing with my camera and so he took a few shots of us ! Is he good or what?! I now officially have my very own photog ! ;)

Montreal Just For Laughs Festival 2009 - The Twins Parade. Each year, nearly 2000 twins, triplets, quadruplets and more, gather to celebrate Twins Weekend, in the heart of Montreal. This year it was held on July 18th starting at Places Des Festivals through the streets of the Quartier Latin district for the 12th consecutive year.

Definitely some sort of chameleon. She plays the blues but is dressed like metal. The nice thing about this shot is that to create the illusion of speed, I slowed down the shutter speed and used a slower lens (something in an f/2.8). It has a nice blur on the right hand, no?
