Freudenthal institute for science and mathematics education
in the Netherlands and it was founded in 1971 by the German/Dutch writer, pedagogue and mathematician, Professor Hans Freudenthal (1905-1990). The institute has an international reputation, and is running projects in many countries, in particular in the Netherlands and the USA.
