In this photo, unlike the , the blue sky didn't come out at all. I don't know enough about cameras to know why, nor whether my little point-and-shoot camera is technically capable of getting this shot to have the dark blue that my eyes could see. Something about eyes having a better... um, range? (Edit: I believe I was thinking of dynamic range.) Whatever the term is that means I can see both bright and dark things at the same time, not just one or the other. Maybe my camera's not good enough to do that.
