Dedicated to my contact Scrapping61. Thank you for your support in planning the California part of our vacation trip. A trip to California is probably incomplete without seeing the once longest suspension bridge in the world that has become a symbol of San Francisco and California. On a day that started with rain and quite clouded I was wondering whether I’d be able to get a decent picture of this architectural masterpiece. I have seen a lot of extremely beautiful pictures of this bridge I cannot compete with but I’m happy that the sky cleared up enough to really enjoy our day in San Francisco and to take this picture. I hope you enjoy it too.

The sunset today here in SF was pretty amazing. I was viewing it down at the bluffs near Baker Beach. I feel I could have gotten a much better shot here if I had my telephoto lens, but I like all the sky in this one. This was straight from camera except for slight gradient overlay on the sky to simulate a GND filter. I don't know if I think the low hanging cloud over the south stanchon ruins the shot or makes it more interesting.. I would love hearing others thoughts & opinions. SF_Bluffs_20080207_0066
