Interesting places in Fort McHenry Tunnel:
Fort McHenry

The Fort McHenry Tunnel is one of two tunnels that carry traffic underneath Baltimore Harbor. It is named for Fort McHenry, which it passes underneath.

Star Spangled Banner

Star Spangled Banner
Made by Avelino Maestas
A reproduction of the flag that flew over Fort McHenry when the British attacked Baltimore in 1814 flies over the national park and historic shrine today. It was a pretty nice day to be out on the water, and the fort was pretty cool (as far as early-1800s military structures go, of course). Prior to shooting this image, Meredith had asked if the cannons still worked. I told her I wasn't sure, but later showed her this photo as proof.
