deep night is her reign she knows the things that you try to hide she knows what to say the whispers seduce you, and echo in your head you don't have to say 'yes' not even smile the first time you wake up, shocked then you start to get used to the idea the deal is set once you accept and enjoy the very thought of it she doesn't promise you won't get caught but somehow makes you believe so it's nothing, compared to the other consequences: either you feel guilty for life or you develop a taste for the thing, do it once more, and again, and forever on. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fábio VCC knows what this is about. We talked about it this week, while we had our heads overloaded with beer. Fábio, through the good and bad times, we'll be dust, long gone from this place, but our friendship will live on! ;*** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Something funny, cute, pleasant and mighty embarassing happened yesterday regarding me, Guilherme, Gustavo - my brother, and Samantha - sister in law (ooooh I upgraded her, she is not 'just' my brother's girlfriend anymore, lol) Something to laugh about some years from now. Thank you three for everything. Even after/when/if Guilherme talks out loud, so people can hear us, at any place and specially when he is saying something potentially embarassing, just because he knows I abhor that; or when he says I'm fat, just to see whatever expression I come up with: Oh, you really think so? oh my god! o.Ô; Stupid, I know I am not! ¬¬; Oooh, I know! I got fat after that party :(; Ok, anorexic maniac, find yourself a stick to get married with, and I'll find someone that thinks I'm fine! ;P and so on... Even when Gustavo keeps playing The Forth Coming, Metin, War Craft, The Second Life and some other stupid internet games in the other computer, thus slowing the connection; or when he creates the most irritating images using my photos, just to see my I'll kill you for that expression. Even when Samantha won't stop talking when I'm trying to do a thousand things at the same time; or picks on me with whatever she finds funny to bug me about when we are doing something together. Yeah, I really like you all... a lot :P ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ah! and this photo was taken at the Zoo in Brasilia. I used Bob's Sony camera to take the photos there! Thanks Bob!! ;-)

Yes, I know, to be a real Mowgli shot, I was supposed to be undressed, but I was in a public space, right in front of a Mormaii store/surf-sushi bar (the one Bob took me on wednesday) and since I didn't feel like been arrested in the name of art, you'll have to wait until I get to a deserted island for such a shot :P ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, for a week I stayed in Brasília. Went there for Eduardo's graduation party, which was great!! (he didn't upload anything from the party yet, but when he does I'll let you know) There I got to meet Cecília, a darling friend from swim team, whom I hadn't seen in many years! Talking to her took me right up to my teen age at swim team! Also met Neto, another sweety, whom I hadn't seen in two years. And met a flickr friend >> Bob (aka Mondmann). When I arrived on Wednesday he took me to this fancy restaurant inside the mormaii store (surf bar) where we had sushi ^.^ it was great to meet him.. sunday he took me to the zoo. One thing he said, and that everybody else says was: wow, you are much taller than I thought and you're a genius!! lol he took two photos of us, you can see them here and here ~~~~~~~~~~~~ And for Augusta, there's a mad world out there, but there are still some people doing impressive and touching things, like this man here: IRONMAN - mi padre me ama tanto (yeah, I cried watching it :P)

Ponte JK / JK Bridge Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge or just JK Bridge, is a steel and concrete bridge that crosses Lake Paranoa in Brasília. It links Lago Sul district (and St. Sebastian and Paranoa) with the Pilot Plan (or the central part of the city). Inaugurated on December 15, 2002, the structure of the bridge has a total length of crossing of 1,200 metres, a width of 24 meters with two carriageways with three lanes in each direction, and two walkways on the sides to use cyclists and pedestrian (with 1.5 meters width). Juscelino Kubitschek, former president of Brazil, was the one who conceived, built and opened Brasilia, the new capital of Brazil. JK (as he was also known) inaugurated Brasilia in April 21, 1960. The architect Alexandre Chan is the author of the architectural design and lighting design. The structural design was done by engineer Mário Vila Verde. Photo Equipment: Sony DSC-H5

Brasilia's metropolitan cathedral is one of Oscar Niemeyer's most outstanding and beautiful pieces of work. Unfortunately for us, when we visited it was undergoing complete restoration work and there were just a few of the beautiful stained glass windows in place. -------------------- La catedral metropolitana de Brasilia es uno de los trabajos más destacados y hermosos de Oscar Niemeyer.
