123 Days Sober

Totally inspired by I've been asked for more explanation for this one, basically I saw the photo linked above and it stuck in my mind, so deeply that on the late night of my 123rd day without alcohol I became so frustrated at how little I was being supported through these milestones that I decided to celebrate it myself with a mini photo project. The 123 project is a collection of around 20 self portraits. It took about an hour to write all the 123s on my body and then another hour and a half to shoot. I will definately do something like this again as the results were fabulous and narcisistic.

A classic 'over the specs' look which seems to drive everyone wild... Massively over exposed my first shot of my new hair by accident but it turns out this is the shot I most liked from the whole shoot. Happy accidents. I especially love how the over exposure has wiped out all faults on my skin but you can still make out the birth mark on my neck.. Chuckle.
