View of Fannette Island on Lake Tahoe on the Nevada - California border. This is one of the most popular attractions at Lake Tahoe. At the summit of the sparsely foliated granite outcrop which rises some 150 feet above the lake surface, you can see teh tea House which was built in 1929 by Mrs. Knight who also built Vikingsholme Castle on the banks of the lake.
