There is also a photography exhibit going on inside the church of Saint-Merri, some very nice pictures of people around nativity scenes. So you can see the pictures are competing with the statues for your attention. Il y a aussi une expo-photo à l'intérieur de l'église Saint-Merri, de jolis clichés de scènes de crèche. This is the last picture before I realize I don't have to shoot everything at ISO 1600 :) Too bad, I really like this shot and I think it could have been even better. C'est la dernière photo prise avant que je réalise qu je ne suis pas obligé de rester coincé à un ISO de 1600. Dommage, je trouve que cette photo aurait été encore mieux avec moins de grain.

Another large print from the photography exhibit, standing on what I guess is an altar. I really love the way the light illuminates the scene. Un autre grand cliché de l'expo-photo, reposant sur ce que je crois être un tabernacle. J'aime beaucoup la manière dont la lumière illumine cette scène.

A weird looking statue in the Saint-Merri church. With the backlighting, it somehow reminds me of the moai from Easter Island. Une bizarre statue à l'intérieur de l'église Saint-Merri. Avec l'éclairage de derrière, la silhouette me fait un peu penser aux moai de l'île de Pâques.
