Each level of the car park at the Westfield centre in Derby has a giant level number painted on the wall. They're quite funky :D As I was heading back to the car after a successful shopping trip I decided to stop and take a picture of the giant 5. Then I thought to myself... hmmmm... if only I had a 3 and a 6... (can you tell what I was thinking). As I was on level 5 I had to drive up to 6, then down to 3, and then finally back up to the exit on level 4 (yep, the car park exit is four stories above street level - weird I know!) When I finally got to the exit, I put my car park ticket in the machine and NOOOO! my parking ticket had expired. I'd spent too long taking pictures. Doh! So I had to go back to the pay machine and pay another £1. So this shot cost me £1.
Day 215 - De Lux

I went to the in Derby (hehe, again!) last night to see Sex and the City. A new Cinema de Lux has just opened which aims to provide a new experience in cinema. It doesn't disappoint :) Me and my friend had dinner at Pizza Express and then headed up to the impressive foyer. It was more like a huge set from a TV show than a cinema. Lot of funky fabrics and unusual design. I'd already selected our seats online, prebooked our tickets and printed them at home, so we were able to just walk right in. An usher showed us to our seats and they were the most awesome seats I've sat in. The film was great too. So all in all, a fab night.

I really REALLY liked this version, but chose to go with a in the end. Ho hum. But it's not a problem, because like a deleted scene from a really good film, this gets to live on in the 365 Reject pool :D
