This was taken from the Perth Road outside Laings Bar at the top of Rose Angle looking towards Magdalen Green and Seabraes. It's over looking the River Tay and The Tay Rail Bridge. Most of my shots to date have been taken in automatic but this is the first time i have taken a manual shot since i figured out how to actually use my camera. I have to say im really happy i actually self taught my self photography. I had no idea i could get images like this without photoshop.

Ironically, sometime long before the bench was put in place, there was a rather nice view across the River Tay towards Fife from here in Dundee, at Seabraes. Now it's all Tesco & car parks. And they call it progress. :-S
