I really don't care if it rains all day (like now) because I'm happy anyway... I PASSED MY FINAL EXAMS! I spended 6 years at school (VWO, before university) and now I'm finally ready with it. I'm SO HAPPY! Ow, I don't know how it goes in other countries, but here in Holland it's tradition that when you pass your finals the flag goes up with your schoolbag on it. It's still kind of unreal for me that my bag is hanging over there, but it feels SO GOOD! *dancing around* And next year will be awesome! (I hope :P) I've got a job at Youth for Christ Nederland, for one year, doing a sort of volunteers year. It's a combination of work and education (after that year I'll have a MBO2 diploma for assistant-youth worker). But the main time I will spend on the job of light and sound sound-effects girl. (YEAH!) YfC (Youth for Christ) has theatre teams that travel around the country, visiting schools and other places where many young people are, with drama pieces about lover boys, bullying, Christmas, Easter and other theme's. And it's my job that there is light, sound, music and video's at the right time. I really love it!! It's like a dream coming true. The other dreams coming true (besides finishing VWO and working for YfC) is that I'll move to the community where all the people that do such a volunteer year live. I love my parents, but it will be really good for me living on my own. I can’t wait! In the weekend of 23/24 August I’ll move to there. Yahooooo! ;)

History book about the The Netherlands and Indonesia.. A textmarker for underlining important things to remember.. Tissues because I'm having hay fever and sneeze a lot.. And a big glass wit citron, mint, water and ice cubes. This year I'm having my final exams. Because I really, really, really want to pass them I need to study while it's beautiful weather outside, and I would love to go to the swimmingpool or somewhere else with water. So, I took up my books, put up my sunglasses and went to the back garden...

Op eerste kerstdag koos Connexxion er voor om met dubbele trams te rijden op de diensten tussen Utrecht, Nieuwegein en IJsselstein. Alhoewel een eerste poging om de trams in de sneeuw te fotograferen in het water viel vanwege een fotowolk was de tweede poging meer succesvol. Als bonus liep stel 5020 in OV chipkaart uitmonstering voorop. De combinatie is onderweg naar IJsselstein... Nieuwegein Sint Antoniusziekenhuis, 25 december 2010.

These are my bassguitars. Aaaw ^^ The yellow one is a violin bass, which I have bought for my first salary, last summer. The brown bass in the middel is a gift from the father of one of my brothers friends. It's a very special one, hand made and the only bass in the world like this. The black one is my first bass guitar, a present from my mum and dad for my 14th birthday. I played 2 weeks or something by than =D

De Krul (the curl) is a work of art on the central market square in Nieuwegein. It was made in 1985 by Frans de Boer en Marja de Boer-Lichtveld. In December 2010 a group of women from Nieuwegein added this knitting work (breiwerk) to the curl. This work of art was well protected from the cold and the snow of the past few weeks... Gelukkig Nieuwjaar (Happy New Year) to all of you from Nieuwegein !

Deze wissels kwamen in 2005 in plaats van twee ouderwetse scharnierwissels (met losse in plaats van gelaste tongen) die zeer luidruchting waren. Zou dat ook de reden zijn, dat de trams sinds een week heel langzam langs de Blokhoeve rijden? Dit punt is ook tevens kilometer 0 van de tak naar IJsselstein.
