Talk about a subdued crowd. There were thousands of people jam-packed on Kits Beach, and I think at least 99% of them were sleeping. Sure, fireworks events are usually anti-climactic adventures as a whole, but at least people could ooh and ahh a little more, just like in the movies. Anyway, what's with the blah musical selections? Enya & Chariots of Fire [and michael bolton]? Is this 2007 or 1988? We tried unsuccessfully to stifle our laughter, and the people around us were pissed. But really.
