51/365 I got paid (well, not yet) to shoot a Stanford Symphony performace because their regular shooter and my friend, Enrique, is out of town swimming with and shooting whales. I light was pretty poor (true of most performances) but hopefully I got what they needed. It was fun if tiring and I got exposed to something new to boot - I know northing about contemporary classical music.

Our first Stanford Lively Arts performance for this year. The St Lawrence String Quartet was really fantastic. They played four works by Hayden, celebrating 200 years since his death in 1809. String Quartet in A, op. 2, no. 1 (1757-62) String Quartet in D, op. 20, no. 4 (1772) String Quartet in C, op. 54, no. 2 (1788) String Quartet in G, op. 77, no. 1 (1799)
