Lake Dianasee, Grunewald, Berlin, seen from the southern end near Fontanestraße. The old name was Thieves' Hole (Diebesloch). The lake and its neighbours were enlarged and unsilted during the construction of the exclusive district of Grunewald during the 1880ies. Guessed in the by dr_druse.

Als alter Düsseldorfer weckt so ein Schild in Berlin schon Heimatgefühle, obwohl die Düsseldorfer Version natürlich viel schöner aussieht. ;-)
