Have you ever tried to take a picture of a leaf in the wind? They blow soooo much... This is my wallpaper at the moment... I discovered that I actually really liked the quick set-as-wallpaper feature in Picasa. It also works well if you stick it in a 3:4 ratio and colour the canvas black. Actually I might re-upload this one like that. Sorry I haven't been able to upload much recently, I desperately need to get myself a job before everyone else is off on holidays. Becky: there will be pictures of you coming soon, as soon as I have 30 mins or so to put aside :-) Love you xx

Kedleston Bridge, Kedleston, Derby, England - on a sunny January day!
Made by borichar
Sometimes photographs don't turn out just right. I used a similar technique to my Kedleston Lake photo, just below this one. One of the exposures was well-overexposed to illuminate the interior walls of the arches, but it adversely effected other tones in the image. Failed miserably! but with a few tweakings in photoshop, including a pseudo-infra-red setting in the black-and-white toolbox, I came up with this. Looks like a winter scene but actually it was a beautiful sunny day.
