It was 18.30 local time when we landed - about 2.30 in the morning local time. We went for a walk by the river at the back of the airport hotel to wake ourselves up. Heard an enormous splash and saw a beaver swimming by, our first wildlife encounter of the trip. Unfortunately I didn't get a shot of him, so this will have to do,
