Il custode di piombo e la ballerina. [raccontino inside]
Made by Geomangio
Berlino, Neue Nationalgalerie. Ehi, tu... Ragazzo triste come me...

Rooftop

Hanging on the telephone

Seen at Arkaden, Potsdamer Platz, Berlin www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIcdNjG1Jlg Blondie - Hanging on the telephone - 1978 I'm in the phone booth, it's the one across the hall If you don't answer, I'll just ring it off the wall I know he's there, but I just had to call Don't leave me hanging on the telephone I heard your mother now she's going out the door Did she go to work or just go to the store All those things she said, I've chosen to ignore Oh why can't we talk again Don't leave me hanging on the telephone It's good to hear your voice you know it's been so long If I don't get your calls then everything goes wrong I want to tell you something you've known all along Don't leave me hanging on the telephone I had to interrupt and stop this conversation Your voice across the line gives me a strange sensation I'd like to talk when I can show you my affection Oh, I can't control myself Don't leave me hanging on the telephone Hang up and run to me

Hey guys, first of all I'm very sorry that I'm miles behind with commenting on your pictures. Be sure that I check out your streams in the next days. Well, as always when I see a car the very first time I can't believe my eyes. Same here. The car looks epic in person, much better that on photos. I wanted to upload a picture of this car on the day I shoot it but since a week my creativity for editing pictures is like zero. That sucks a lot. I really enjoying photography and I saw some nice stuff the last days but when it comes to the editing I lose all my euphoria for my shots :(. I'm not very pleased with this shot too but its a pretty cool car so I decided to upload it.

Daimler Chrysler & Tilla Durieux Park, Berlin

Architects; Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners, 1993-99. Rogers did not win the master planning project for this area. However, here they are trying to 'subvert' the brief by building a low energy project. The indentations are to allow daylight and natural ventilation to a deep plan building containing mostly offices and some housing. Thanks to harry_nl for finding this link for designers of the competition winning Tilla Durieux Park here; www.newitalianblood.com/index.pl?pos=01.00&item=5388

More shots of the Festival of lights later on .

The Pastor's Wife
Made by mr • p
Elisa, waiting for Mr. Right. This was taken about a month ago, when the Berlinale was in town – opening day, if I remember correctly. We got bored by all the hustle an bustle, so we snapped the chance and improvised a shoot at a quiet spot right outside of Potsdamer Platz' Sony Center. Other than that, a movie called The Frightened Tit won the best picture award.

Bronze

Look at that. A SLS in matte bronze. In person that looks actually pretty cool. And really everyone turned his head around for it. Its the same place where I found the Carrera GT but this car got much more attention. I was hoping to get a shot with the doors opened but the owner and his wife were getting in so quick that I wasn't able to react fast enough ^^. He started the car and ROOOARRRR, my god that thing sounds good :)

Alien
Made by toffi:xc
Well I guess its obvious that I got my creativity back ;). It was a ton of work editing this picture but I love the result :). Of course there were no green lights under the car but I liked the idea. The car arrived while I was shooting the Carrera GT. I saw it but didn't give a damn, because the Carrera GT was much more exciting. But than I found it kinda sad that the car got no attention from me so I shoot it too ;).

trapped in mind
Made by olivermaximilian
To be honest, I'm quite proud of myself after taking my first successful portrait. Usually, it's pretty hard for me shooting pictures of human beings. But this time I was able to shoot my best friend at the time when he switched into his, for me well-known, passiv mode again. A few seconds - trapped in mind.
