I already have a plan I'm waiting for my real life to begin Probably my favourite of the set, because of the cinematic feel. I'd like to try a wider one with some horizon and more sea actually. This one was wider, but it was also horribly slanted as I grabbed it quickly before she moved, so had to crop a lot to rotate. EUREKA! I have just realised why these came out so well! The Sun is over the sea, but we are standing in front of chalk cliffs which are obviously acting as a natural reflector, allowing me to get so much detail on this side of the model. That was completely unplanned, I'll have to bear the effect in mind...

If you can be fascinated by a lump of chalk, you'll never be bored! :o) We went on a weekend jaunt to the Seven Sisters a while ago. I was hoping maybe to get some countryside / cliffy type shots. The outfit was a fortuitous coincidence, and resulted in some much better photos! This looks like a selectively desaturated image, and to a certain extent is it, but not as much as you might think. The large pebbles really are that grey, only some of the small pebbles between them have been desturated to enhance the effect. Th chalk is obviously white anyway :o)

Taken at about 8:30am in the middle of November 2006 and I had all of this to myself. It all looks fairly tranquil, but the wind was blowing really hard and the tide was coming in. After every shot I was checking that my escape route from the advancing water had not been cut off.
