The Computer Shop | In Administration. The Computer Shop is the 'front end' of Granville Technology Group, founded in Blackburn, Lancashire circa 1994 and later renamed Time Group, before reverting to its original name a couple of years ago, following the aquisition of Tiny Computers. Granville went into administration last week after it ran out of cash, and rumourdely had it's card payment facilities withdrawn by its bank after defaulting on a loan. The whiteboard sign underneath is an advert for Staples stores just over the street. Good thinking by Staples management who sell similiar lines to the Computer Shop. Personally, I worked for Time from 1999 - 2001 and can't admit to even the slightest bit of sadness at the demise of this company who took both customers and employees for granted.
