To Prague Congress Centre at night

About the place: Prague Congress Centre is one of the dominant points of the City of Prague. It is located on one of Prague’s hills, which provides visitors with a beautiful view of the world famous Prague panorama where the silhouette of Prague Castle, together with a myriad of towers belonging to churches, cathedrals, palaces and ancient buildings from the historical centre, rise over the Vltava River and extensive parks. The Prague Congress Centre is one of the largest and best-equipped European centres. A group of Czech and foreign experts in the field of acoustics participated in its modification. The hall is four storeys high, rising from the first to the fourth floor. The dimensions of the orchestra shell nable large musical bodies numbering 100 musicians to perform concerts, with up to 2,764 guests being able to view them from the auditorium. More About the shot: HDR from 3 exposures (+2; 0; -2) Tonemapped in Photomatix 3.2 (64bit) Finished in Adobe Photoshop CS4 (Remixing with -2 exposure to correct the sky and ads, Noiseware, final sharpening) Press L to view on Black

UDS, Day 1 Daniel Holbach of the Ubuntu Community Team and a lady whose name escapes me (I think she's from Sun; someone let me know if I'm wrong), discussing matters of great importance at UDS. This wasn't posed; I said don't mind me, and they happily ignored me.

UDS Intrepid, Day 1 Alan Pope and Jono Bacon demonstrate the twin rocks of UDS. (This pose wasn't my idea; I just happened to be there at the same time as the guy who suggested it. If anyone knows who that was, let me know and I'll be happy to credit them).

It was just too much for some people. Eagle-eyed viewers will see Tony Espy in the reflection. He was giving an impromptu accoustic session in the conference centre lobby, well after almost everyone else had gone to bed.
