the name Kerkyra can be confusing as it the name of the island (Corfu) and also the name of the main town (Corfu Town). The old part of the town has many narrow streets (or kantounia) and this is the view down one of them with the the bell tower of the church of Saint Spyridon in the background..... Fly to this location (requires Google Earth)

The town of Corfu (Kerkyra) has both an Old Fort (built between the 6th and 19th centuries) and a New Fort (16th century). This is the old fort from the sea. As usual in the middle of the day, the breeze has died and will reappear later from a totally different direction. : Bee --> Sea (B --> C)

The colours of this image almost make it monochrome. Green shirt, green boat, green water and green umbrella. The strong geometry of the umbrella works well against the patterns of the waves. Wish i'd waited for him to use both oars.
