Lorne Hotel - 1878

1770 Comox Avenue, Comox, BC. Originally built and owned by Mr. and Mrs. John Fitzpatrick, the hotel still operates (as a Pub) and is still a fine example of early craftsmanship. Despite a dry spell during World War I, when prohibition was declared, the Lorne has been in business ever since. Comox Museum

I was going out to coffee with a friend, and while I was waiting for her, I turned around to see this out the window. I felt I just HAD to take a photo. I'm actually quite happy with the result, especially since I shot it through a window and past some street signs. :)
