Comerica Park
Comerica Park is a baseball stadium located in downtown Detroit, Michigan. It was constructed as a replacement for Tiger Stadium for the Detroit Tigers. It is located next door to Ford Field, the home of the Detroit Lions. Like many other sports venues constructed in recent years, the park is named after a corporate sponsor, in this case local bank Comerica Incorporated, who paid for the naming rights. The park is also featured briefly in the movie Driven, as well as several rap videos.Top photos chosen by u all:

Tomorrow I'm going to official start a project known as 2007: The Year In B-List Pictures. It's a working title but since I don't change captions, that's what it will read on this photo. As I've mentioned a few times, I have a dump account where I post a lot more than on here just because I'm doing Project 365 and most of my photos of the day are pretty crap. Though on days when I take a lot of photos, like here on May 27, 2007, there are some decent ones that sneak over there and get a good response. This is not one of them. I've been trying to madly crop and post May's and June's photos, while trying to stay current on everything else in my life. As I've been doing so, some May and June shots have caught my eye to get placed on here. This is one of them. This is part of the Detroit skyline as taken from Comerica Park during the Detroit Tigers/Cleveland Indians game over Memorial Day weekend while I was home near Detroit.

The scoreboard in Comerica Park is offset to the left to allow for a view of Detroit's magnificent skyline. Most of the tallest buildings in Detroit were built between 1925 and 1929. From right, the brown top of the Guardian Building, the tapered roof of the Penobscot Building, and finally the narrow David Stott Building.
