Despite the fact that I'm sure everyone thought I was a terrorist while shooting this (imagine a guy with a tripod at about 7pm taking pictures of a highway overpass, camped on an embankment) this was an awesome find. Center foreground is the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts - this was taken on the overpass of 23rd Street, overlooking the feeder routes to and from I-66 and the Whitehurst Freeway. I really like the way this one came out.

Went to the Magic Gourd for the first time. My noodle soup made for a pretty picture (I had already started eating before thinking to take a shot). It sits tucked away in a very 70's Foggy Bottom plaza, with dated touches of elegance. Our waitress was perfect. 528 23rd St NW, Washington, DC.
