Navigator of the Seas @ Cobh Harbour
Made by silyld
Taken 26th August 2007 when the Navigator of the Seas, one of the worlds largest cruiseliners was docked in the deep water anchorage of Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland. Love the reflection at the top of the ocean and the architecture of the ships stern. This is an enormous ship ! 15 stories high at least above the waterline. From the wikipedia:- Completed in 2002, Navigator of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean International's five Voyager class cruise ships. She was once one of the largest in the fleet and still ranks among the largest passenger ships in the world. Constructed at Aker Finnyards in Turku, Finland, the ship measures 138,279 gross tons and can carry 3,114 passengers, plus crew. Her length is 1,020 feet and with a beam of 157.5 feet. As of April 2007, she will be departing exclusively from Southampton, UK, on cruises throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. Amongst activities on baord are :- * Ice skating rink * Rock climbing wall * Inline skating * Nine-hole miniature golf course * Full-sized basketball court * Adventure Ocean youth facilities including teen only areas Fuel and Living Room * table-tennis tables

Its the police station in Cobh, which has a deep water quay where you get many ocean liners docking. In fact the Titanic's last port of call was Cobh. Hence the reason the ships funnel is echoed in the building.

De mayor, quiero ser como ese!!!
