shot while on location for a super bowl commercial production. A&I los angeles now offers processing of bulk-rolled 35mm motion picture stock (ECN-2) process. at $15/roll, it's an expensive but welcome service that replaces Hollywood's RGB Color Lab, which closed in 2005. more A&I news: I have learned this week that A&I and Photo Impact have merged, effective Sept.1. Photo Impact has been my lab of choice for over ten years - time marches on I suppose. Fewer and fewer pro labs left, even here in LA. nikon F5 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6G VR. very expired kodak eastman vision 5245 50D motion picture stock, shot @ 1/50, processed ECN-2. lab: A&I, santa monica, ca.

March 2007 Coatesville was once considered the Pittsburgh of the East as it was a thriving steel town. Coatesville, like many other Rust Belt towns has suffered as a result of the shift from an industrial to a service-oriented economy. My original intention on this photography expedition was to capture images of the old Lukens Steel (now Mittal Steel) mill and yards. Security fences and other objects prevented any worthwhile shots but I did happen across this Orthodox church and steeple on the hill of South First Ave.
