This photo was taken on a Citybus returning from Belfast to Glengormley after the 12th parade. Some of the passengers (stupid p***ks) shoved flags through the skylights of the bus and started singing as the bus went past New Lodge. Unfortunately the lights at the Cavehill Road junction turned red, and Mr Citybus stopped, not realising what was about to happen. Firstly, this one guy lobbed a large stone at the bus, which smashed a window. (you can see the stone if you look carefully). Then a gang of about 20 came behind him with sticks, bottles, bricks etc, and started pelting the bus. Red light or not, Mr Citybus drove on. It was frightening. I'm glad that things like this are (largely) a thing of the past.

I am really disappointed with this item in general. I seem to have lost much of the detail on the left and far right. It was done hand held, if anyone can give me some tips regarding keeping as much info as possible I would be great full. I have used the recovery feature in Bridge but am still not happy with little bits of it. 21/08/07 - Image replaced with a tighter crop version.
