Single NG line in Chintamani station. Other loop line seem to have been ripped off. This being the only 'Crossing' station in the YNK - BWT line, would have had atleast one loop line. Both the rakes running on this isolated section would have met here every day.

Trains running out of Chintamani in '94; The schedule used to be Chintamani - Yelahanka - Bangarapet - Kolar (shuttle trips) -Bangarapet for one rake and Bangarapet (shttle trips) - Kolar - Bangarapet - Yelahanka - Chintamani for another rake.

Incidentally the fares haven't gone up by much in 13 years! Yelahanka to Chintamani for Rs 13 now would cost only Rs 16, Practical populisam in railways!!
