Frank Gehry's Sails, built for InterActiveCorp, makes quite a statement alongside the West Side Highway. Tamron 17-50@17mm, f/6.3, 3-exposure HDR (1/320, 1/1250, 1/5000s) blended and tonemapped with Photomatix Pro. I often get the feeling that when I create HDR images of New York that the final product ends up looking like something out of Sim City. In the case of this building, however, it doesn't even require the HDR treatment to make such an impression... Update 3-21-2007: New review of this building in the NY Times.
