Shanghai International Music Festival - Century Park - Shiji Gongyuan A group of kids scour the stands, scooping up any discarded cans or bottles they can find. No time to enjoy the concert or play, as these kids are most definitely working (and have been throughout the day). The cans and bottles are collected and brought to the (three or four) adults, that then load them into huge, green, plastic bags. This picture is at the end of the day, as the kids are making their last rounds, searching for the last remaining recyclables. -Shanghai China

Bright Lake in Century Park contains about half the water in the park and is located on the West side of the park. A sign near the lake reads: The Bright lake is located in the center of century park, with 14 hectares wide. It is the largest man-made lake in Shanghai at present. There are a lot of swans, mallards and 300 thousand fishes in the lake. The lake looks like a static mirror on a sunny day, the clouds are inverted reflection in the lake, calm and propitious, so named Bright Lake.

(1) propaganda posters at Wujiang Lu snack street that's being stolen from the people, and (2) having to extend my Chinese visa in the immigration office in Pudong. I read that Lubitel needs to be customized to make room for a 135 film roll, but I just squeezed the roll in and shut the back lid. Overlaps and juxtapositions are, of course, unintentional. Now I wish this Lubitel has not been converted to make 16 frames per a 120 roll - I'd be getting longer frames on 35 mm.

An outdoor amphitheater (music plaza) in Century Park. From the sign next to the plaza: The music plazza is located in the west of Century Park, 8000 square meters, with 4000 seats in the front area. There are stage music shade, lighting control equipment, sound control equipment, and some accessorial rooms in front of the audience area. It is the largest man-made outdoor theater of china at present.

Walkway along the View Terrace in Century Park in Shanghai. From a plaque on the View Terrace: The view terrace is located in the North of century park. The flower nurseries on both sides of the footpath, the perennial flowers and plants are grown. on the west side, the rare flowers are planted. Climbing up the view terrace, you can enjoy the scenery of Bright lake.

Once again captured a great macro shot at the Century Park, ShangHai. I was not ready for this shot and it suddenly showed up in front of me. Unfortunately my friend had my external SB800 flash and I had to use ISO800 for this shot.

Capturing wild birds shot are not easy as they are very alert ceature. I needed to hide behind a shade and waiting patiently for this little bird to approached me. This was the last shot I could captured before it flew away.
