Commerce Industry Integrity

Interior shot of the CIBC building at 25 King Street West in Toronto. Completed in 1931, this building is the Grande Dame of Toronto's banking institutions. Designed by New York architects York and Sawyer, the 34-storey edifice casts a shadow of grandeur over the much larger structures that now dominate the city's Financial District. Located two blocks west of Yonge Street, this Romanesque building lends a sense of security to all who enter. The ground floor, with its banking rooms and grand lobbies, is decorated with wrought-iron detail and gilded mouldings that offer a sense of part revenue and part reverence. Good Morning Blue Sky
Made by Lisa-S
Explore #397 Saturday, I climbed the CN Tower for charity. It is 144 stories, 1769 stairs! Unfortunately, the rules prohibited carrying anything up the stairs, including a camera, so I have no pictures of the stairwell or the view from the top. But by arriving prior to 7am we received a voucher to go up the tower, in the elevator, for free, another day. Since I was downtown I took the opportunity to take some skyscaper shots. Here's one of the two towers of SunLife Centre at King and University in Toronto. Another part of this .

Royal Bank, Toronto, Ontario. If you look closely, you can see the cloud/light shadows about mid-point up on the building. Close-up found in this other image: Now part of my Explored group.

Smog, fog and façade
Made by Michael Rugosi
Took this shot with one of my close friends (Mel)... she held the umbrella as the camera wrapped in a plastic bag took photo after photo without a tripod. The fog was real thick that day and I ended up with some really cool shots
