From my last trip to India in Jan 2011. This is a tropical Asian bird found mainly in certain parts of India and China. I spotted this bird by accident in our yard one day while I was playing with my brother's camera. The bird was in the shade against bright background. This was one of the better shots in the series.

City of Nagpur is experiencing summer heat. The temperatures have been around 47 deg cel for more than 3 weeks. Unexpected storm brought a temporary breather for the city for an hour on Wed evening. Bands of colors in sky and soaking in the rain drops made everyone forget the heat for sometime.
