Capital Iron is a great store in Victoria, BC. It began (I think) as a ship's salvage outlet. It still has ship and other salvage, but also hardware, kitchen stuff, work and hiking type clothes, garden furniture and supplies, fabric, et cetera. It is a truly amazing place, still family owned and operated. Reminds me of the war salvage places I used to go to with my Uncle Tony and cousin Steve when I was a kid.

kath loves value village. she could spend hours inside. the one in victoria is really good, probably because it hasn't been picked clean like the ones in toronto.
