Mixed cloud formations, Big Pocono State Park, Monroe County, as seen from Camelback Mountain (elevation: 2133 feet [650 meters]). Not the prettiest foreground; spring comes late to this area, and the birches and scrub oaks were still leafless in mid-April. The sky, though, was exceptional that day.
