This is very controversial issue. The beggar in Bangkok may not poor as they look like. Some beggar gains more than a thousand a day. In addition, there are some gang that force them to do this and get money from them. There are also an urban legend that they kidnap the children or cut the legs of normal man and force them to be beggar too.
