Broager
Broager (German: Broacker) is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in South Jutland County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark. The area was formerly known as Northern Schleswig. The municipality covers an area of 43 km², and has a total population of 6,290 (2005). Its mayor is Jørn Lehmann Petersen, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party.Top photos chosen by u all:

The twin towers are reputed to have had significance during the Prussian bombardement of Dybbøl in 1894. It is said that a gangway was erected between the two spires from where a lookout could observe the fall of canon shots and correct aim.

Broager church is Denmark's only village church with two spires. The oldest part of the church dates from 1200, but there have been many later additions such as in 1400, the 1800s and 1914, which dates are recorded on the church walls.
